Set at the Southern tip of the beautiful Cotswolds the hotel offers the ideal venue for exploring the numerous attractions in the region and visiting the lovely city of Bath and the bustling city of Bristol. Close by is the village of Castle Combe reportedly the prettiest vilage in England whilst further afield there is Stonehenge Burford and the Cotswolds itself. The hotel offers 17 en suite bedrooms which have been sympathetically restored from a former farmhouse to provide excellent facilities. Each room offers a welcome tray mini bar remote control colour television radio direct dial telephone trouser press hair dryer and a wake up call facility. Car parking is on site and free and we have six acres of grounds in which to exercise. The hotel is located just 3 miles from junction 18 M4 motorway travelling towards Stroud on the A46 and in 2 miles joining the A432 towards Chipping Sodbury. The AA RAC ETB have graded the hotel 4 Diamonds and in addition we have a Sparkling Diamond award from the RAC. The Cross Hands is popular with, among others, country lovers, horse racing fans, motor racers, golfers and young couples; and our own dear Queen sought shelter here during a blizzard in 1981.
